Wong Ito's take their first family vacation to the Bay Area. We threw everyone in the car and headed out after work on Tuesday night. Thanks to Auntie Amy, we stayed in the Sunset -which was the perfect home base for our adventures in the City. Unfortunately, Auntie Amy was off to Japan early the first morning so we were on our own. Our first stop was a picnic in Golden Gate Park-the playground was one of the best we've ever played at and the Carousel was thrilling!
After a long nap for everyone, we headed back out to Japan Town. Rockett and Zoe saw their first movie, WALL-E. Rockett sat still and mesmerized through the whole movie while Zoe cruised the aisles and ate snacks. We ended our first night with yaki-soba, curry and sashimi.
